Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup white miso paste
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the miso paste, honey, rice vinegar, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper until smooth.

Notes

To use this sauce, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare your protein of choice. For example, this glaze works well on salmon, chicken, or tofu.
Brush the glaze generously over the protein and place it on a baking sheet or in a baking dish.
Bake the protein in the preheated oven until cooked through and the glaze is caramelized, about 15-20 minutes depending on the thickness of the protein.
Remove from the oven and let the protein rest for a few minutes before serving.
